I sculpted these sharp teeth and jaw part of an animal skull in solid bronze. I was inspired by a pendant, with an animal jaw set in metal, that I saw in a museum. I make these as cufflinks, tie clips and lapel pins.
Charivary means "mess" or "madness", charivari jewelry with animal bones and teeth were historically used as talismans for a successful hunt.
The cufflinks have hooks of stainless steel. The tie clip is forged from thick stainless steel wire and submerged inside the bronze backside when cast, the tie clip is about 5 cm long.
The tie pin is stainless steel and about 6 cm long.
